Croeso i Ysgol Gynradd Cwmlai

Cwmlai Primary School is situated in the north of Taf-Ely and serves the people of Tonyrefail, Thomastown, Coed Ely and surrounding area. It is administered by Rhondda Cynon Tâf Local Authority and provides education for pupils between 3 – 11 years of age.

The current number on role is 429 pupils. There are 15 classes including a part time nursery.  

A full-time chief administrator and one part-time administrative assistant are highly professional and always on hand to help.

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.
