Every week your child will have welsh lessons and will play welsh games that consolidate the topics we cover in class and the children’s knowledge of incidental welsh in and around school. We encourage our children to speak welsh both with their peers and with adults working in our school.

The welsh that you will see in the following pages form the basis of our welsh scheme of work. As you will see there is progression from year to year. However it is not intended for these language patterns to be used exclusively within each year group. We prefer to encourage the children to use these sentences patterns incidentally throughout the school day – regardless of the age or year group of the child.
