  • The Daily Mile

    Mon 10 Jun 2019

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

Cwmlai Primary School has registered as a ‘Daily Mile’ school.  This means that your child will participate in a running/jogging activity lasting 10/15 minutes at least 3 times a week.  It is not PE and it is not competitive. Everyone has fun taking part.

The idea is to improve the mental and physical health of children. The Daily Mile makes children fitter, healthier, happier and has a positive impact on their behaviour and concentration levels. It is simple and effective, enabling every child, including those with special needs, to be active every day.

To find out more please visit the ‘Daily Mile’ website where you can register as a parent and access a range of resources.
