Cwmlai Primary School is situated north of Taf-Ely and serves the people of Tonyrefail, Thomastown, Coed Ely, and the surrounding area. It is administered by Rhondda Cynon Tâf Local Authority and educates pupils between 3 and 11 years of age.

 

The current number on roll is 411 pupils. There are 14 classes, including a part-time nursery.  

A full-time chief administrator and one part-time administrative assistant are highly professional and always on hand to help.

 

 

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taste of the school, as well as providing regularly updated information for both parents and pupils.
